Orthodontics, which generally aims for a correct bite, includes the treatments required for the proper alignment of the teeth in opposite jaws. Orthodontic treatment ensures the correct alignment of the teeth on the jawbone, both aesthetically and functionally. It diagnoses and treats problems that disrupt the harmony between teeth and jaw. Situations such as crooked, missing teeth, jaw closing problems, jaw stenosis, jaw fractures, jaw traumas, jaw being forward or backward are within the scope of orthodontics.

Finally, lingual brackets are glued to the inner surface of the teeth. For this reason, they are not visible at all when viewed from the outside.

The removable devices used in orthodontic treatments are generally transparent plaques and acrylic plaques. Acrylic plaques are generally preferred for protective and preventive treatments in children. They can be put on and removed by the patient himself. Transparent aligners are aesthetic braces used for adults. Its most important advantage is that it is transparent, so the person is free from aesthetic concerns throughout the treatment.
